PURPOSE: To improve adhesion between a tire cord and rubber by forming the rubber used together with a steel cord of a specific composition composed of diene elastmer, particle silica, carbon black, and dithiodiprophionic acid, and a methylene donator. CONSTITUTION: In a laminate composed of rubber and a steel cord, the composition of the rubber has (A) at least one kind dien elastomer of 100 wt.%, (B) particle silica of about 0-40 phr, (C) carbon black of about 30-85 phr, (D) a dithiodipropione acid of about 0.1-10 phr, and (E) at least one kind of a methylene donator of about 1-5 phr selected from among hexamethylene tetramine, hexamethoxy methyle melamine, lauryloximatryl pyridinium choride, etc. A weight ratio of the methylene donor to the dithiodipropionic acid and total quantity of the carbon black and silica are set to the ranges of about 1/1-10/1 and about 40-95 phr respectively. |
