Non-reusable single-use plastic medical syringe according to the invention in which the plunger must be extracted as far as possible before insertion for injection in order to make a column of lugs (1) pointing downwards which are provided on one face of the shaft, pass over a small bar (7) (forming a lug pointing upwards) fixed at one or two centimetres from the upper edge of the body of the syringe. This small bar forms part of a fixed upper part (FUP) (3). The plunger can then be lowered after rotation of the shaft through 180 DEG above the small bar, whilst the head which is integral with the shaft portion pressed against the bar, does not rotate. In return for this rotational movement which brings a smooth face of the shaft above the small bar, this shaft is broken in a highly weakened part which is then located just above the upper edge of the small bar. The shaft of the plunger and the body of the syringe are provided with a large pre-cutout causing destruction of the syringe during any wrongful manipulation. <IMAGE>
