The invention relates to a device by means of which it is possible permanently to hold two articles of wood in a parallel position by arranging a strip of steel which is fixed without nails or screws. This device consists of a galvanised steel strip comprising an integrated toothing (1) which allows it to be fixed directly on the articles of wood. This steel strip prevents a spreading movement and/or a closing movement as a function of the assigned thickness and width. By virtue of the toothing of the strip, this device can also hold a material situated between the two articles of wood. The device according to the invention is intended in particular for roofing panels or facade panels. <IMAGE>
