PURPOSE: To surely prevent fluctuation with sufficent rotation and slide between two wheels ensured by assembling a friction clutch for realizing prepared rotational coupling between a pair of wheels of a dual wheel caster assembly. CONSTITUTION: A dual wheel assembly, provided with fixed and free wheels 15 and 20 on both the ends of an axle 25, is fitted to a swivel arm 5 turnable around a pivot. The wheel 15 is fitted by pressure bonding it to a straight knurl 40, and nearly cylindrical bushings 30 are arranged in the respective inner edge sides of the wheels 15 and 20, to pressedly contact the respective bushings 30 to the inner edges of the respective wheels 15 and 20 by a spring 45 adopted as part of a clutching means interposed between both the bushings 30. A washer 50 is fitted on the axle 25 protruded to the outer edge of the wheel 20, to fittably fastened a cap 55 on the end part of the axle 25 so as to contact the washer 50. |
