PURPOSE:To make a device correspond to unattended operation on a holiday or the like by switching a feed speed of a feed roller to a prescribed low speed by a control means to convey the concerned paper sheets, based on a detection output of the first detecting means, so as to remarkably improve a success factor of automatic forced repair of delivery abnormality. CONSTITUTION:In a main control part 12, delivering, conveying a note 1a from a storage case 2b, detecting, processing a jam, etc., are executed. In a jam detection control part 13, unless the note 1a passes an optical sensor 11b within a time T1 set in a time setting part 15 by a timer 14 from the time of starting delivery by a pick roller 3a of the note 1a, jam generation is decided in a jam decision part 16, and a feed speed switching command part 17a, dropping a rotational speed of a stepping motor M4 based on a jam detection signal so as to rotate a feed roller 14A by dropping from a feed speed V2 to a low speed V3, commands the main control part 12. Thus by slowing a motor peed to increase torque, the jammed note 1a is fed out. |
