An ignition coil arrangement for an internal combustion engine has a primary coil, a secondary coil, at least one coil former, a core, a first resin part and a housing. The primary coil and the secondary coil are wound on the coil former. The core has core elements having a gap which is arranged between them, by means of which the primary coil and the secondary coil are magnetically coupled to one another. The housing accommodates the primary coil, the secondary coil, the coil former and the core. Furthermore, the first resin part covers some of the core elements, namely those which are opposite the secondary coil, and the first resin part is accommodated in the housing.
