Method of producing a complete denture for toothless jaws, comprising the process steps of producing a jaw model on the basis of a jaw impression, introducing the jaw model into an articulator, applying a layer of wax on to the jaw model, selecting and erecting artificial teeth (18) in the wax layer on the model, specific erection rules being observed, and replacing the wax layer by denture material, the artificial teeth (18) being attached on to the particular, essentially dental arch-shaped periphery of a template pair (10) for upper and lower jaws selected so as to suit the respective arches of the jaw, before application on to the jaw model, and the individual artificial teeth being provided with an essentially horizontal cut-in section (18) in the lingual surface which determines the spatial position appropriate for an erection method. <IMAGE>
