The multi-purpose track-laying vehicle (crawler, caterpillar) with a loading platform (3) has means for connection to interchangeable intermediate layers (4) which are provided with fastening means suitable for holding any desired parts, such as containers (11). The peripheral walls of the loading platform (3) are capable of receiving intermediate layers (9, 9a, 10) for the direct connection of several vehicles having loading platforms (3) lying in the same plane, in order to interconnect several containers (11) which are provided with doors which correspond to one another (Fig. 10). <IMAGE>
