<p>An arrangement and method for regulation of idle speed and charge pressure in a supercharged combustion engine (1) which engine includes an idle speed valve (20) arranged in a shunt channel (21) by-passing the throttle (9) and waste-gate valve (10) regulated by a pressure controlled diaphragm pot for regulating of the supercharger. The invention is characterised in that one and the same valve (20) is used for regulation of idle speed and charge pressure. By a simple arrangement of ducting (23, 24, 25, 19) and a shut-off valve (26) added to conventional device for idle speed regulation, a regulation of the waste-gate is obtained which is in parity to the idle speed regulation in aspects of accuracy and response, at a reduced cost. One and the same control device (31) including two different functions for regulation could be used due to that the regulation of idle speed and charge pressure could not arise at the same time. The functions for regulation is selected by the control device dependent of a detected engine parameter, by preference a throttle position sensor (16).</p> |
