The invention relates to a solution for mounting the motor and other components within electrical appliances, in particular vacuum cleaners and small and domestic electrical appliances. It is intended to replace costly solutions, such as those according to the prior art, and furthermore to contribute to improving usefulness. The motor or the component which is to be accommodated in the housing is accommodated with a slight push fit in a moulding made of thermoplastic foam material.
