摘要 In a circuit arrangement for a broadband amplifier, having a frequency-dividing network, which provides output signals with partially overlapping frequency spectra, a first transimpedance amplifier (3) for higher frequencies and a second transimpedance amplifier (6) for lower frequencies, the use of a control amplifier (7) to regulate the first transimpedance amplifier (3) results in small gain errors, in particular in the low-frequency range as well, in spite of a large frequency range. The said advantages of the broadband amplifier also result from a method for amplifying signals in a frequency range in the case of which the signals are divided into overlapping low-frequency and higher-frequency components and afterwards are each amplified separately, the gain of the low-frequency range of the higher-frequency component being regulated to the voltage value of the amplified low-frequency component. <IMAGE>
