The invention relates to a vehicle roof (1) having at least one roof panel (2, 3, 4) by means of which at least one installation space (6, 7, 8), which is situated above a vehicle ceiling (5) and is intended for equipment (9) and leads (10), is covered, the roof panel (2, 3, 4) comprising an outer casing (13) provided with holes (17) and at least one inner casing (4), and being at least partially open at the end. A vehicle roof of this type has improved ventilation over the previously known vehicle roofs and, as a result, ensures better cooling of the installed equipment and leads. <IMAGE>
