Enamelled baking- and roasting-oven muffle (1), in particular for electrically heated cookers with pyrolytic self-cleaning, having a flanged edge (2) which surrounds the charging opening of said muffle and in which cutouts (5) are provided. In order to exclude tensile stresses in the flanged edge (2) of the oven muffle, a separating gap (6) running to the cutouts (5) and ending in these is formed in the flanged edge (2) of the baking- and roasting-oven muffle (1). <IMAGE>
