PURPOSE:To provide a manufacture of a heat shrinkable tube having small coefficient of contraction in its longitudinal direction and large one in its radial direction, for which there has been no proper manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION:Delivery and drawing are performed at the beginning and end of a process in speed-associated manner. Undrawn tube 1 is delivered, while the interior thereof is pressurized by compressed air 2, and preheated to a temperature of 60-100 deg.C, preferably 65-85 deg.C. And when it is then heated to 100-160 deg.C, preferably 120-l50 deg.C, the tube 1 is drawn by internal pressure. The drawn tube 3 is formed by a restriction ring 4 with cooler. Cooling water is applied to the drawn tube 3 by means of a shower ring 5 to effect complete cooling and space washing. The finished heat shrinkable rubber tube 6 is delivered and withdrawn in, speed associated manner. A series of aforesaid processes are carried out continuously. |
