The invention relates to a roof design formed by a plurality of disc shaped roof elements (1), in assembled condition being arranged to constitute a covering roof (100) along the designated wall extension of a building. Triangular disc shaped roof elements (1), for exemple consisting of profiled sheet metal, are received with the outer short end (55), i.e. that end of the roof element (1) which is intended to be supported by the encompassing wall (50) of the building, in holders (2) carried by said wall (50), and that an inner tapering end (56) of the roof elements is arranged to rest upon and be supported by a central support member (11) located at the centre of the building and that a tightening device (25) is arranged for tightening the parts together.
