<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a tape from being fed even when a fly-wheel keeps rotating by separating a pinch roller from a capstan shaft only for a specified period when the tape is switched from high speed driving to low speed driving. CONSTITUTION:The capstan shaft 3 and tape reels 4 and 13 are driven by the capstan motor CM. The pinch roller 2 is allowed to press-bond to the capstan shaft 3 through the tape T so as to switch the tape 1 from the high speed driving to the low speed driving. At such a time, the pinch roller 2 is separated from the capstan shaft 3 only for a specified time under the control of a pinch solenoid PS. Therefore, the tape T is not fed while the fly-wheel 14 keeps rotating by inertia, and then the jamming of the tape T is effectively prevented from occurring.</p> |
