Surface protection method for items made of thermoplastic material with asurface treatment (for example by fluorination or oxyfluorination), whereina coat of photo-cross-linking varnish is applied onto the treatedsurface(s), wherein photo-cross-linking is then induced by means of at leastone light source. In the case of a hollow body, such as a fuel tank, thelight source may be introduced via one of the orifices by means of a roboticarm wherein the trajectory is programmed so as to obtain homogeneousexposure to the inner surface. |
