PURPOSE:To provide an infrared ray absorption reinforced spectrometer of which infrared spectro-sensitivity is increased in infrared ray absorption spectrum analysis. CONSTITUTION:In a device which makes analysis with absorptivity characteristics of infrared rays reflected fully after entering a high refraction index prism 31, a dielectric film 24 containing fine metal particles is formed on the entire reflection surface of the prism 31, a specimen 23 is located between the surface and a metal surface 22 deposited on a film 21, and both surfaces are adhered closely to each other by a pressing mechanism. Thus an electric field strength of the infrared ray produced between the surface of the dielectric film 24 containing metal particles and the metal deposited surface 22 is strengthened to increase the absorption of infrared ray by the specimen. |
