PURPOSE:To only depress the switch of a remote controller to set the group control address of an indoor machine by connecting the signal transmission line, which does not require the group control address setting work and connects the remote controller and the indoor machine, without restrictions on connection form. CONSTITUTION:When indoor reception means 41a, 42a, and 43a receive the group control address setting start signal from a remotely controlled transmission means 15a by depression of a group control automatic address start switch 16, indoor transmission means 21, 22, and 23 start the transmission of group control address setting request signals. Indoor transmission means 21, 22, and 23 of indoor machines where communication monitor devices 31, 32, and 33 output contention loss signals as the result of comparison among priority levels of these group control address setting request signals interrupt the transmission of group control address setting signals and retry the transmission again. Indoor reception means 41a, 42a, and 43a of indoor machines where devices 31, 32, and 33 do not output the contention loss signals receive the setting signal from the transmission means 15a to group control address setting request signals and set the group control addresses.
