A blower provided, for example, at the bottom of a predetermined concavity in an electronic keyboard instrument supplies an air blast to a light ball to blow same up, using a fan rotated by a motor. The motor controller may control the rotational speed of the motor on the basis of a pitch for controlling the generation of a tone signal, velocity, timbre, automatic performance tempo, rhythm pattern or a change in the pitch or a combination of some or all of them, and not on the basis of the amplitude of the generated tone signal by itself.
