PURPOSE:To reduce the circuit scale and the power consumption of an input signal switching device which is used to a repeater installation of a CATV system. CONSTITUTION:The double-input/output switches 5, 6, 25, 26, 15 and 16 that include the same output are connected together in cascade. Thus these six switches can perform the same switching operations as those of a conventional device consisting of four 4-distributors and 12 double-input/1-output switches. In such a constitution, the circuit scale and the power consumption can be reduced for an input signal switching device. Furthermore the mounting area and the power consumption of the switching device can also be reduced when an electronic switch consisting of amplifier circuits 52 and 53 and diodes 54 and 55 is used in place of a conventional mechanical switch. |
