PURPOSE: To reduce the capacity of a memory necessary for the generation of a movement vector, and to improve the efficiency of a data processing by temporarily storing the partial result value of the movement vector from an analyzer in a buffer memory, and reading the synchronizing value of the movement vector corresponding to a prescribed correlation face when the reception of the correlation face value corresponding to the prescribed correlation face is ended. CONSTITUTION: A correlation face data stream successively supplies one raster line from each correlation face to a correlation face value analyzer logic block 332. The analysis of each correlation face is substantially interrupted by the non-twist format of the data stream, an FIFO memory 334 temporarily stores the partial result until the next data of the correlation face are inputted to the correlation face value analyzer logic block 332. Then, when the reception of a correlation face value corresponding to a prescribed correlation face is ended, the synchronizing value of a movement vector corresponding to this correlation face is read from an address generator 330. Thus, the capacity of a memory necessary for the generation of the movement vector can be reduced, and the efficiency of a data processing can be attained. |
