发明名称 LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide the liquid crystal display device which prevents the deterioration in image quality by a fluctuation in pixel potentials by effectively suppressing the light leak current of thin-film transistors(TFTs) constituted as switching elements for pixels. CONSTITUTION:One pixel in a display panel is composed of a liquid crystal cell, storage capacitance and the TFT 23. This liquid crystal cell is composed of a pixel electrode formed on an array substrate, a counter electrode formed on a counter substrate and a liquid crystal layer clamped therebetween. The minority carriers which determine the magnitude of the light leak current and which are shorter in their diffusion length than the diffusion length of the minority carrier of the other TFT 28 used for a driving circuit existing in a position not affected by incident light are used for the TFT 23. The light leak current of the TFT 23 is thus effectively utilized.</p>
