摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To provide such method and device for detecting digital reproducing signal that supplement the function of a data detecting circuit for compensating the lost and distorted part of a reproducing signal. CONSTITUTION: In a reproducing signal from a magnetic recording medium, loss in a low frequency band is compensated by the integrator 31 of a phase equalizer 30. The output signal of the phase equalizer 30 is inputted in two delay elements 42, 43, with a first and second delayed signals are each formed; the second delayed signal and the output signal of the phase equalizer 30 are differentially amplified by the first differential amplifier 44 and differentiated by a differentiator 45; and the differential signal and the first delayed signal are linearly added by the second differential amplifier 46. Then, a high frequency component noise is cut with a low-pass filter 51 and inputted in a butter 61. The buffer 61 forms in-phase/anti-phase signals from an input signal and outputs to a data detector 62. The data detector 62, amplifying the difference between the two input signals, outputs data detecting signals +DATA, -DATA by forming a rising/falling edge of data at a point with the two signals crossed with each other.</p>
