<p>PURPOSE: To provide a release switch started camera, which photographs even with a lens cap closed by only depression of a power switch, and its control method. CONSTITUTION: This camera is composed of a microcontroller 10 which outputs a lens cap open/close control signal and a control signal for measurement of the distance value and the peripheral luminance value of an object at the time of operation of one of switches of a switch part 50, a motor driving part 30 which opens/closes the lens cap in accordance with output signals of the microcontroller 10, an automatic distance measurement part 70 which measures the distance of the object to output the signal, a luminance photometric part 80 which measures the peripheral luminance of the object to output the signal, a strobe part 40 which emits a lacking quantity of light to obtain a photograph of correct exposure, and a shutter driving part 60 which executes photographing based on individual control signals of the microcontroller 10 at the time of operation of the switch part 50.</p> |
