PURPOSE:To obtain a branch joint structure for facilitating mounting/demounting work of power cable in which the insulation layer for the conductor at the joint of an insulated wire is protected against tracking. CONSTITUTION:An exposed conductor part 40 is projected from a conductor 12 at a joint through an insulation layer 16 and connected with a cabinet 20 through a supporting insulator 44 thus securing an insulated wire in the cabinet 20. A conductor branched from the conductor 12 at the joint is connected with one end of a power cable 24 through a tulip contact. Furthermore, an insulation protective cover being fitted idly without touching the power cable 24 is fitted, at one end thereof, to the insulation layer 16 of the branch conductor. |
