PURPOSE:To provide a bobbin holding method which can easily deal with a small bobbin and in which the deformation of center pin is eliminated while stabilizing the bobbin holding force by making the center pin and a holder rotatable around the axis while being coupled integrally. CONSTITUTION:A tubular holder 30 has a through hole 32 and provided, at the forward end thereof, with a protrusion to be fitted over a winding shaft 12 and an engaging part 46 having diameter larger than that at a columnar reduced part 44 is formed at the front end thereof. A groove 48 corresponding to the rib 14 of a bobbin is made in the periphery of the engaging part 46 thus forming a center pin 10 which is inserted into the through hole 32 of the holder 30. The center pin 40 can move freely in the through hole 32 along the longitudinal axis A and rotatable freely in the holder 30 around the axis A. The center pin 40 is urged rearward against the holder by means of a spring. The center pin 40 and the holder 30 are rotatable around the axis A while being coupled integrally. |
