<p>PURPOSE:To provide an electrostatic photographic liquid developer for the production of an optical color filter used for a color TV, liquid crystal color display, and camera, etc. CONSTITUTION:This liquid developer consists of a dispersion of a coloring agent in an electric-insulating liquid. The coloring agent is obtd. by kneading a mixture of org. pigment (A), synthetic resin (B) which is solid at room temp. and insoluble with water, water-soluble inorg. salt (C), and water-soluble org. solvent (D) which at least partly dissolves (B), then removing (C) and (D) by washing with water, and drying. Thereby, the obtd. color filter has excellent heat resistance and solvent resistance and good spectral characteristics.</p> |
