PURPOSE:To always and accurately detect the residual developer. CONSTITUTION:A developing roll part 4 and a developer supplying part 5 formed in a developing housing 3, a partition 3b formed in the developer supplying part 5, first and second stirring members 9 and 10 disposed so as to interpose the partition 3b, to stir/carry a developer are provided. Then, the first/ second stirring members 9 and 10 are formed to the shape of a coil having electric conductivity and an AC power source 11 connected to one of these stirring members 9 and 10 and a detecting circuit 12 connected to the other are provided. |
