The generator contains a stator (10) and permanent magnet rotor (11) which are rotated in opposite directions by separate drive mechanisms, such as propellers (8, 9) in a wind powered generator, or combustion engines in a fixed generator. - Preferably the propellers for the two generator sections have different diameters or active surface areas and/or they are placed at different distances from the top of the mast. The rotatable parts of the generator or the top of the mast can turn to face the wind. |
