PURPOSE:To provide such an electronic component mounting device that a rotating body can be rotated at a high speed while the rotating body holds nozzle holding bodies holding many component attracting nozzles. CONSTITUTION:An index table 32 rotates around a vertical axis while the table 32 supports twenty component mounting units 40. The nozzle holding body 138 of the component mounting head 130 of each unit 40 rotates around a horizontal axis while the body 138 holds six component attracting nozzles 170 in radial directions perpendicular to the horizontal axis. A nozzle selecting device positions one of the nozzles 170 to an actuating position by turning the nozzles 170. Therefore, the numbers of the nozzle holding bodies 138 and component attracting nozzles 170 can be increased without increasing the diameter of the table 32 and the table 32 and bodies 138 can be rotated at high speeds, because the diameters of the bodies 138 can be reduced for holding the same number of nozzles 170 and the diameter of the table 32 can be reduced for supporting the same number of bodies 138 as compared with the case where the nozzle holding bodies are rotated around vertical axes.
