<p>PURPOSE:To detect the presence and speed of a truck on the same track so as to obtain a sensor plate having a narrow width. CONSTITUTION:A sensor plate on which magnetic poles having the same width are continuously and alternately arranged by a prescribed number is mounted on a truck and multiple magnetic sensors 5a and 5b are installed on the ground at an interval equal to at least 1/4 of the length of a paired magnetic poles so that they can be counterposed to the surface of the sensor plate. The presence/absence, moving speed, and moving direction of the truck are respectively detected from the output levels, generating periods of the detecting signals, and generating order of the detecting signals of the sensors 5a and 5b. The presence/absence of the truck can be detected by, for example, adding to each other the added results of half-period components of the output waveforms from the sensors 5a and 5b by inverting the components to the other half-period sides.</p> |
