PURPOSE:To provide an optical fiber device capable of controlling the focusing position of light from the leading end of an optical fiber cable in a state where the outside diameter of the leading end of the optical fiber cable is kept small. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with an optical fiber 14, a cylindrical guide member 18 covering the outer periphery of the leading end of the optical fiber 14, a lens 26 arrangned in the guide member 18, plural electrodes 30 formed on the inner peripheral surface of the guide member 18 and arrayed along in the axial direction of the guide member 18 in a mutually insulated state, a cylindrical lens holder 28 made of an insulting material inside which the lens 26 is housed, and whose outer peripheral surface is fitted to freely slide on the inner peripheral surface of the guide member 18 in a state where the plural electrodes 30 are faced, and a power source for impressing voltage whose polarity is different by every electrode on the plural electrodes 30 and temporally changing the polarity. |
