<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape running sensor, capable of theoretically erasing any wow and flutter from those of regenerative data by making these regenera tive data be controlled for modulation using an error signal detected out of hits tape running sensor, and a control method using this control circuit. SOLUTION: A tape speed (TSS) signal detected and compensated from tape running by FG (a frequency generator) and PG (a pulse generator) is inputted into a PLL loop in a data controller (TBC) in a regeneration system, and a head regenerative signal is converted by an analog-to-digital converter 41 through a reference clock generated there, and then these data are once accumulated into an FIFO memory 44. These data are successively converted at the timing of an absolute control clock of a crystal oscillator 45 at a time when they are reconverted into an analog signal by a digital-to-analog converter 43, whereby any error component superposed on the head regenerative signal is eliminable in this way. Therefore, any wow and flutter in a driving mechanistic system is made theoretically erasable from the head regenerative signal in consequence.</p> |
