PURPOSE:To form components of a drive shaft which is adopted to a driving parts of a regulator in a power window for a vehicle by means of cold forging. CONSTITUTION:Integrally formed are a block-like base 11 which is connected to a driving part of a window regulator, a cylindrical shaft 12 which is arranged perpendicularly to the base 11 and continued from the base 11, and a width across flat 13 formed on the end of the shaft 12. An inner diameter bearing 14 is arranged inside the width across flat 13 coaxially with the shaft 12. Such components are prepared by cold forging all. The components are prepared by a series of cold forging processes, so that drilling or the like in the inner diameter bearing 14 is avoided. Innefficient processes accompanied with exhaust of cut powder is also eliminated, and thereby manufacturing process and cost are reduced. |
