PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the subject new cyclic compound, comprising a specific 1-(1-borylalkylidene)-2-(1-silylalkylidene)cycloalkane compound, containing two kinds of different typical metallic atoms and useful as an intermediate, etc., for producing medicines and agrochemicals. SOLUTION: This new 1-(1-borylalkylidene)-2-(1-silylalkylidene)cycloalkane compound represented by formula I [R<1> to R<3> are each an aliphatic group or an aromatic group; R<4> and R<5> are each a halogen, an alkoxy, an aryloxy or amino; when R<4> and R<5> are each an alkoxy, an aryloxy or amino, R<4> and R<5> may be bound to form a ring; R<6> and R<7> are each H, an aliphatic group or an aromatic group; R<8> is a (substituted) alkylene which may contain a heteroelement] and is useful as an intermediate, etc., for producing medicines and agrochemicals. The compound is produced by reacting a silylborane compound represented by formula II with a diyne compound represented by formula III in the presence of a catalyst composed of a group 10 metal, its metallic complex or metallic salt. |
