PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic information display unit capable of obtaining necessary traffic information in the vicinity of destination timely even before riding a car and also timely obtaining traffic information changing momentarily even after riding the car. SOLUTION: The portable type traffic information display unit includes an FM multiple receiving set 6 for receiving FM boardcasting, which contains such traffic information as traffic accidents and traffic snarls, and a plane display unit 4 for displaying the traffic information received by the FM multiple receiving set 6 and carries a casing 5 of an outside diameter of 150 mm ×100mm × 30 mm or less, preferably approximately 110 mm × 75 mm × 10 mm, while the display unit is drivable by an internal power source. |
