PURPOSE:To provide a traveling route setting device for a vehicle capable of executing route setting even for a road not recorded on a map. CONSTITUTION:When a road map of the vicinity of a starting point is displayed, and the starting point is designated on the road map, route selection processing starting from this starting point is executed, and a traveling route is set for every crossing (100 to 190). Then, unless a mode change key is operated after the route able to be selected by the route selection is gone or the route set before is corrected (160, 180, 200 to 230), the automatic setting of the traveling route is executed again as considering the end point of the route set before to be the starting point. On the other hand, in the case that the mode change key is operated after the starting point is set or after the selectable route is gone or the route is corrected, a section from the starting point or the end point of the route set before to an arbitrary place a user designates is set as the traveling route (135, 240). |
