A subsampling method has a step of judging whether or not an input signal is an interpolated signal, and a subsampling step of performing only the removal of a sample when the input signal is the interpolated signal and the pre-processing and the removal of the sample when it is not. An interpolation method has at least one interpolation method in which the sample data of an input signal is directly stored. The interpolation method for an input signal can be switched in response to additional information.
