- The invention relates to a joint structure for coupling two rotating shafts. - It comprises a body (2) exhibiting, on two opposite sides, two coupling portions (3, 4) which are coaxial and shaped in hollow cylinders for accomodating the ends of the shafts to be connected, at least one of the two said portions having slots (5, 6) passing through its wall and extending axially over the said coupling portion starting from its free end. A locking ring (10, 11) is positioned around the said portion and includes means (14, 15) for decreasing its diameter by bringing the said coupling portion closer towards the axis for immobilising the said shaft. - Advantageously, means (16, 17) for holding the said locking ring (10, 11) around the said coupling portion (3, 4) are provided on the said structure. <IMAGE>
