Paving composition and a material for a damping layer or track bed for the preparation of a horseriding terrain, especially of a horse racetrack. The paving composition includes 0.1 to 30 % by weight of a synthetic resin which has a contact angle of at least 95 degrees, for example a silicone resin, a polyurethane resin, an acrylic or methacrylic resin containing a polyurethane fragment or a polysiloxane fragment, or a fluoropolymer, 0.1 to 30 % by weight of an oil, for example a silicone oil, an oil-soluble polyether, a vegetable oil or a thickened mineral oil, and 40 to 99.8 % by weight of sand. This paving composition is suitable for all-weather tracks intended for horseriding. Application to the preparation of horseriding terrains.
