The subject of the present invention is a balljoint and multi-position joint device for orientating cleaning tools, this device allowing the use of the shaft or handle (2) of a container or dust pan for domestic cleaning or the like in positions inclined in three planes at sixty degrees between them or more, as well as, in a vertical stable position, using a sleeve (1) which is provided with two pegs (1b) which together with holes (2a) in (2) produce a hinge equipped with two projections (1a) which can be used as keys for sliding inside (3a) and which can lock in the plane (3b) between the other projections (3c), and provided with a pair of stops or striker pegs (1c). The whole, that is to say 1 and 2, can slide inside the support (3) provided with slots 3a, bearing regions 3b and projections 3c fixed to the container or the dust pan (4). <IMAGE>
