The invention relates to a method for constructing a pool (1) comprising the steps consisting in carrying out earthworks so as to produce a trench intended to accommodate the said pool, making the side wall (2) of the said pool by assembling reinforced concrete panels with projecting reinforcing arms (4), the said panels (3) being predecorated on one of their faces (5), pouring the bed (soleplate) (6) of the said pool, forming a seal at the joins (7) between the said panels and at the join (8) between the said panels and the said bed, producing formwork (shuttering) around the said side wall (3), pouring a bottom anchoring structure (9) of reinforced concrete with reinforcement (10) around the entire periphery of the said side wall (2), pouring posts (11) of reinforced concrete with reinforcement (12) at each join beween the panels constituting the said side wall, pouring a top anchorage (13) of reinforced concrete with reinforcement (14) around the entire periphery of the said side wall (2), the reinforcement (4) of the said side wall interacting with the top anchoring reinforcement (14), bottom anchoring reinforcement (9) and the posts (11) in order to reinforce the structure of the said pool (1), and decorating the upper face (15) of the said bed (6) constituting the bottom of the said pool (1). <IMAGE>
