<p>PURPOSE: To provide a golf club of high strength, high elasticity, and high quality, by welding a head and a shaft of the golf club in a room filled with an inert gas. CONSTITUTION: A shaft 2 and a head 1 of a golf club is welded in a room filled with an inert gas. The head 1 is made of a titanium alloy. Further the solution heat treatment is performed to the golf club in a vacuum room, and then the golf club is age-hardened. On this occasion, the solution heat treatment in the vacuum room, is performed at 950-970 deg.C, and the age-hardening in the vacuum room, is performed at 480-600 deg.C. As mentioned in the above, the head and the shaft are welded in the room filled with the inert gas, the mixing of the impurity can be prevented.</p> |
