WASTE WATER TREATMENT APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To sufficiently perform the reduction of BOD of waste water and the removal of SS thereof by preventing the passing speed of waste water through fine wooden pieces from becoming high. CONSTITUTION:Waste water is supplied into a treatment tank 2 from a drain pipe 1 to be subjected to decomposition treatment in the treatment tank. In this waste water treatment apparatus, a plurality of partition plates 11 are formed in the treatment tank 2 and passages 5 permitting waste water to pass are formed to the partition plates 11 so as not to be arranged on a vertical straight line. Waste water moves through the treatment tank 2 along the partition plates 11 and passes through the passages 5 to move to the partition plates 11 of lower stages and, therefore, the waste water passes through the treatment tank 2 in a meandering state and the passing distance of waste water in the treatment tank 2 and the treatment time of the waste water can be extended.
