A locking means for front and rear frames of foldable bicycle, comprises a front joint member fixed on the front frame, a rear joint member fixed on the rear frame, and a hinge axle connecting said front and rear joint members, wherein said rear joint member is a locking tube with one closed end, a locking pin is disposed in said locking tube, a biasing spring is disposed between said locking pin and the closed end of said tube, a locking hole in which said locking pin can be inserted is disposed in said front joint member. Said locking means also includes a sleeve fixed on the middle axle of the bicycle, a rotating shaft disposed in said sleeve and a pedal lever fixed on said rotating shaft. A slot is disposed in one end of said pedal lever, a screw is fixed on the locking pin through said slot. Rotation of the pedal lever about said rotating shaft will cause moving of said locking pin by means of said screw, so as to lock or unlock the front and rear frames by means of said front and rear joint members.
