A sanitary appliance water flushing device, with a single actuator 6 and two pedetermined flush volumes, of the type including a float piston. The said float piston includes a closure valve 3, an overflow tube 4 open at both ends 4a, 4b and a float 10 integral with the overflow tube 4. The device includes an actuating means 15 with two active surfaces 15a, 15b for actuating an annular float 9 between two positions, the first position corresponding to the simultaneous lifting of the annular float 9 and of the float 10 integral with the overflow tube, and the second position corresponding to the annular float 9 returning downwards and being immobilized in this position to render it inactive. <IMAGE>
