PURPOSE:To obtain a powdery extract by extracting nutritive components from shells and meats of a corbicula entirely unlike the conventional method where a boiled or baked corbicula or merely its soup is used for food and to provide its production method. CONSTITUTION:Raw corbiculas holding meats are boiled and the meats are separated from the shells after boiling. The residual shells alone are washed with water, dried, baked and powdered using a grinder, etc. On the other hand, raw corbiculas holding meats are immersed in water so as to release impurities such as sands and muds. After the addition of water, the corbiculas are boiled to prepare a mixture soup of shells and meats. The resultant mixture soup is boiled down again to prepare a paste-state extract. After water is removed while freezing this extract, the extract is then further dried. Coarse particles are obtained thereby and the resultant particles are powdered using a mixer, etc. The powdery extract prepared by baking shells alone is mixed with the other powdery extract obtained from the mixture soup prepared by simultaneously extracting shells and meats, thus producing the objective corbicula extract. |
