PURPOSE:To obtain a foaming inorganic composition capable of providing an inorganic foam having a small and uniform cell size and a high strength in spite of a low density. CONSTITUTION:This foaming inorganic composition is obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. SiO2-Al2O3-based powder with 50-500 pts.wt. aqueous solution of an alkali metallic silicate, a foaming agent, 0.05-5 pts.wt. metallic salt of a fatty acid and 0.02-2 pts.wt. fluorine-based surfactant. |
