发明名称 WELDING ROBOT AND ITS TRACKING SENSOR
摘要 PURPOSE:To continuously weld one work plate having rise add fall sections to the other work plate in mutually overlapping relation by obliquely projecting laser light to the end face of the work plate disposed along the direction that welding is advanced by means of a simple constitution with ease. CONSTITUTION:Rise and fall sections 2a are detected by a tracking sensor 18 based on both a change in an end face 2c in the Y axis direction of a work plate 2 which comprises the rise and fall sections formed roughly regular intervals in the X axis direction that welding is processed, and a change of the position of the work surface in the Z axis direction of the work plate 2, and laser light is projected to the end face 2c out of a working laser nozzle 17. The aforesaid laser light includes normal lines erected over the work surface of the work plate 2, and concurrently is projected obliquely in a laser light projecting surface normal to the end face of the work plate 2. By this constitution, the work plate 2 can thereby be welded to the other work plate 3 the joining section of which is disposed adjacent to the aforesaid work plate in mutually overlapping relation.
